A Sunrise Wedding

Breakout the shades because we are going to discuss sunrise weddings. If the title doesn’t explain what a sunrise wedding is allow us to explain, it’s the opposite of a sunset wedding. Yes, we know what your thinking, but there are some benefits.

Picture this: you and your guests, with a fresh morning glow, waiting for the bridal party to walk down the aisle. Each one wearing a color accent and match the mood of the morning as the sun rises and it’s rays kisses your face while you say, “I Do!” There is something to be said about peonies adorning white chairs with periwinkle lace as sunbeams break through the clouds. Morning weddings are the most effective when it comes to a color palette, you could never go wrong with whites, blues and a dusty rose to mimic the colors of dawn.

The best part of a sunrise wedding is that you can groove right into a brunch reception with all the flare and fixings of a traditional wedding, and be on your way to your honeymoon before three in the afternoon. How fun is that? You can make it as casual or as formal as you’d like, but one thing is for sure, they will be talking about your wedding for months to come.

Coffee bars are perfect for morning weddings because your guests can help themselves to a hot cup of joe or tea, while you take pictures with your husband and the best wedding party ever! Aside from scrambled eggs, cereal bars are hot on the market and they give your guests the choice to reach for a bowl while you make your rounds thanking them for coming out so early to see you get hitched.

Now, think about this, instead of a wedding cake why not waffles, pancakes, donuts, quiche, crepes, fruit salads, yogurt, granola you get the gist, and let’s not forget the most important drink of all, the mimosas! Just because it’s morning doesn’t mean it’s not a celebration, so breakout the bubbles and toast to your new life as husband and wife. Morning weddings are becoming the next best thing; for one, they are inexpensive, and two, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not add a party to it?
